2015 Dana Knox Student Research Showcase
April 29, 2015
The Dana Knox Student Research Showcase is scheduled for the afternoon of Wednesday, April 29, 2015; following the meetings with the NJIT Boards of Visitors. This event is being promoted through multiple channels. As in the past, we expect to have significant attendance both by our students and by our external constituents. Nominations of presenters are due no later than Friday, February 27, 2015.
We ask that you nominate your best student researchers to participate in the event. Please keep in mind that we are looking for experienced presenters only; the students must have previously presented the material to a professional audience.
Nominators and nominees should be aware that display of a poster may be considered a public disclosure of an invention. Please contact the NJIT Office of Technology Development (Paul Matri, Esq., Manager of Patent Prosecution at firstname.lastname@example.org) to discuss patentability issues. Public disclosure of an invention may have a negative impact on the ability to obtain patent coverage.
The goal of this annual research showcase event is to raise the awareness among constituents (prospective employers and funders) and among our students (prospective researchers) of the quality research that takes place at NJIT.
Call for nominations may be found here.
