Schedule:
- Morning: Board meetings hosted by individual departments held in various locations across campus

- 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. - Dana Knox Student Research Showcase (Campus Center)
Student Research Nominations:
Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to present their research in a poster session format during the 2024 Dana Knox Student Research Showcase. Students must be nominated by a faculty member using this nomination form no later than Monday, March 4, 2024.
While all students who are nominated will have the opportunity to present at the Dana Knox Research Showcase, a selection committee will choose a number of these nominees to present their research for judging on the preceding day, April 9. Judges will determine the recipients of the Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Sodhi Prize, awarding $1,000 to the winning graduate and undergraduate students or teams, $500 for the second-place students or teams, and $250 for each of the undergraduate and graduate third-place students or teams. Award winners will be honored at the Board Day luncheon. Notifications regarding selection for participation in the judged portion of this event will be sent by March 27, 2024.
Deadlines for poster printing will be shared with nominees and poster printing will be funded by the Office of the Provost.
We kindly request that you nominate your most outstanding student researchers to participate in this event.
Nominators and nominees should note that displaying a poster may be deemed a public disclosure of an invention. For inquiries regarding patentability, please contact the NJIT Office of Technology Development (Sanjiv Chokshi, Esq., Manager of Patent Prosecution at sanjiv.m.chokshi@njit.edu). Public disclosure may adversely affect the potential for patent coverage.
Faculty Judges:
We are also in need of faculty members to serve as judges. This is a great opportunity to meet top students from across campus and witness the breadth and depth of research activities at our university. The deadline to complete the Request for Judges form is March 4, 2024.
