Donations Needed for NJIT Students

November 16, 2004

Over the weekend, a fire destroyed the apartment of three NJIT women students living off campus, including all of their belongings. They are temporarily being housed in the NJIT residence halls, but lost everything and are in desperate need of the following items: toiletries; linens (towels, twin-sized sheets, pillowcases); clothing: coats, hats, gloves, etc.; 2 size large/14, 1 size extra-large/16, including shoes and/or boots (size 8 for all three women). Gift certificates or monetary donations also will be accepted in their behalf. Beginning today, a drop-off box will be located in the Murray Center where you can deposit donations. The Murray Center is located in 261 Campus Center and is open from 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. daily.
