James Geller, PhD, is a professor in the department of computer science at New Jersey Institute of Technology. His research interests include artificial intelligence with a focus on implemented computational intelligence, where he combines solid theoretical foundations, feasible implementations and practical applications. Geller received the 2002/2003 NJIT Teaching Award in Graduate Teaching and the 2003 College of Computing Sciences Teaching Award. In 2005, he was named a master teacher for having demonstrated the highest level of teaching excellence. He received his PhD in computer science from the State University of New York at Buffalo. |
