| Basketball Team Spends Time as Mentors to Newark Schoolchildren

The NJIT men’s basketball team will spend the 2004-05 academic year as mentors to the students of Warren Street Elementary School in Newark. They will serve as teaching assistants in the school’s English and math programs and conduct a basketball clinic. The Highlanders play their first home game against nationally-ranked Philadelphia University on Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. Read more. |
