 M. Ala Saadeghvaziri, PhD |
M. Ala Saadeghvaziri, PhD, is a professor in the department of civil and environmental engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology. His research interests include: structural engineering with emphasis on non-linear response of structures; finite element and computational methods; earthquake engineering; and structural applications of composite materials. Recent publications include: "A Comprehensive Composite Inelastic Fiber Element for Cyclic Analysis of CFT Columns," Journal of Engineering Mechanics, ASCE, Vol. 128, No. 4, April 2002 (with Aval, and Golafshani). Saadeghvaziri received his PhD, MS and BS degrees in civil engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. |
