Randal D. Pinkett to Speak at National TRiO Day at NJIT

Randal D. Pinkett, the first African-American named a Rhodes Scholar from Rutgers University, will be the keynote speaker at a National TriO Day event on February 26, 2005 at 9 a.m. in the Campus Center Ballroom. TRiO is a series of federally-funded programs aimed to help low-income, first-generation students attend college. National TriO Day will feature workshops, career sessions and a town hall meeting during which 650 current and former TRiO students from across the state will discuss their accomplishments.
