Physical Fitness is very important to the Air Force and is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Physical Training (PT) is an integral part of Leadership Lab and is required. Cadets must attend 2 PT sessions per week. The PT schedule for the Fall 2012 semester is shown in the table below.

In addition to participating in PT twice a week, a cadets are required to meet height and weight standards and pass the Physical Fitness Asessment (PFA) every semester. The PFA consists of 4 events and points are awarded for performance during each event. A maximum of 100 points can be earned, with a passing score of 75 points. The PFA score charts are documented in Air Force Instruction 36-2905. Check out the AFROTC webpage for more information about the fitness and physical standards.
All events are either conducted at the NJIT soccer field and track or in NJIT's Indoor Athletic area (inclement weather location).
