Seventh International Summer Research Symposium
On Thursday July 31, 2014 New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) will host its Seventh Annual Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium.
The event chaired by Dr. Angelo J. Perna and Co-chaired by Ms. Zara Williams of the NJIT McNair Program and provides a venue for undergraduate students to present their summer research projects in poster format which was undertaken under the supervision and advisement of NJIT faculty.
Over 100 students from U.S. colleges and universities as well as two from Columbia, South America and 15 from India will participate in the program. The opening session begin at 9:20 AM with a welcome and introductions by Dr. Angelo J. Perna followed by opening remarks by Dr. Joel S. Bloom, President NJIT. The symposium begins at 9:45 AM and concludes at 11:45 AM with closing remarks by Dr. Fadi Deek, Provost.
