Admission Requirements
Students must have an undergraduate degree in any field with strong interest in science and technology. In addition, students must submit the following:
Submitted to MS.PTC
- a statement outlining how the degree will meet personal and professional objectives (1 - 2 pages)
- a current resume
- a portfolio of work (Three samples of writing, web development, CD-ROM, or other appropriate media, that demonstrate abilities for clear expression)
Submitted to NJIT Graduate Admissions
- an Application for Admission to Graduate Study form
- one letter of recommendation in sealed envelope
- official transcripts of all prior work and a certificate of graduation
- GRE scores (These scores are required of all international applicants, all applicants who have earned their last degree outside of the United States, and students who wish to apply for merit-based financial support on individual basis; other applicants do not need GRE scores.)
- TOEFL scores of 550 (PBT), 213 (CBT), or 79 (IBT) are required of all international applications.

Financial Aid for MS·PTC Students
MS ·PTC supports a graduate or research assistant each year with an award of full tuition and fees. Competition is strong for this award; the successful candidate will have completed the first semester as a full-time student (9 credits) with an excellent academic record and commitment to the program, discipline, and profession.
