- "Nuyorican Poetic Blues," poetry readings by Sandra Marie Esteves, published Nuyorican writer of spiritual, blues, and women's poetics, Rutgers-Newark Robeson Student Center 217, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
- International Film Series: "City of Joy," Rutgers-Newark Robeson Center Student Lounge, 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
- International Flag Display of more than 90 flags representing the native countries of the NJIT/Rutgers-Newark community. Exhibit continues through April 24, Hazell Center Lounge and Gallery and Rutgers-Newark Robeson Center Multipurpose Room.
