The Foundation Overseers Award for Public and Institute Service to Angelo Perna, associate dean of Newark College of Engineering. The Robert W. Van Houten Award for Excellence in Teaching to David L. Hawk, professor of architecture and management. Distinguished Alumni Medals for Outstanding Achievement to Aldo M. Caccamo, 60; Frederick D. DAlessio, 70, 77; Louis J. Ippolito, 62; and Thomas M. McCann, 64. Master Teacher Awards to Basil Baltzis, professor of chemical engineering; Rose Dios, 77, associate professor of mathematics; Ronald Gautreau, professor of physics (deceased); Deran Hanesian, professor of chemical engineering; and Angelo Perna, professor of chemical and environmental engineering.
