Counseling Center Earns Re-Accrediation

The International Association of Counseling Services (IACS) recently granted re-accreditation for NJIT’s Counseling Center. IACS establishes and monitors professional standards for college and university counseling centers in the United States, Canada and Australia. Re-accreditation reviews are conducted every four years.

In addition to providing counseling, psychological and substance abuse services for students, the Counseling Center coordinates accommodations for students with documented disabilities. Students are encouraged to call the Counseling Center, (973) 596-3414, for an appointment or to check the center’s new Web page at counseling.njit.edu for more information about staff and services. Calls from faculty or staff who want information about how to refer students to the Counseling Center also are encouraged.
