Campaign Update

The Office of University Advancement is pleased to announce that the university has recently received these major gifts and pledges:

• The Prudential Foundation has made a gift of $125,000 as the first installment on a pledge to establish a revolving loan fund for NJIT’s Economic Development Corporation
• NJIT has received $200,000 from the State of New Jersey, which is the first payment on a proposed match to the $1 million gift for the Henry J. Leir Chair in International Trade.
• Ray McGowan, a member of the Board of Overseers, and his wife, Sonnie, have made a gift of $165,000 to the McGowan Family Foundation Scholarship Endowment.
• Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kreitler,’38, have made a gift annuity of $103,854 for an endowed scholarship.
• Steve DePalma, a member of the Board of Overseers, has pledged $100,000 to support the Schoor de Palma Scholarship.
• The Fontel Foundation contributed $30,000 to the Hashimoto Endowment Fund.
• United Parcel Service Foundation, through the efforts of John Nallin, a member of the Board of Overseers, donated $25,000 to the Electronic Enterprise Engineering Program.
