NJIT Graduate Students Honored At International Symposium

NJIT studentsYanchun Luo, mechanical engineering, and Pornsarun Wirojanagud, industrial and manufacturing engineering, won first place in the student paper competition for "Network-Based Optimization and Simulation of Sustainable E-Supply Chain Management," at the 2001 IEEE International Symposium on Electronics and the Environment, May 7-9, in Denver.

The conference, in its 9th year, has had the distinction of being the premier international technical conference in the field, bringing together researchers and practitioners from industry and university, including Reggie Caudill http://merc.njit.edu/html/prof1.html , professor of industrial and manufacturing engineering and director of the Multi-Lifecycle Engineering Research Center at NJIT.
