New Jersey Institute of Technology Graduates Educational Opportunity Program Students
Thirty-four students from New Jersey Institute of Technology's Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) graduated during a Jan. 23 commencement held at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Newark. The Educational Opportunity Program is a state-funded program for New Jersey students who are educationally and economically challenged and who are greatly underrepresented in science and technology fields. The mission of the Educational Opportunity Program is to provide educational opportunities and improve educational outcomes for populations traditionally underrepresented in mathematics, the natural sciences, engineering, computer and information science, business, architecture and engineering technology.
