Commencement: Jan. 13, 2000

The university will hold January Commencement Exercises, Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, 10 a.m., at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC).

Cap & Gown Rentals
Academic attire can be ordered through the university Bookstore. Rental rates are:

Orders are now subject to a vendor-imposed late fee. Payment is due in full when an order is placed. The university bookstore accepts all major credit cards, cash, checks and money orders. Academic attire can be picked up beginning Jan. 3-11, 2000, at the university bookstore. Academic attire also may be purchased through the bookstore.

Assembly Time and Location for Commencement:
Assembly time is 8:30 a.m., Jan. 13, at NJPAC. Faculty escort marshals, administrators and stage-group members should assemble in the areas located on the second floor of NJPAC:
Area 1: Faculty Escort Marshals for Newark College of Engineering and the College of Science and Liberal Arts will assemble in the Rehearsal Room.
Area 2: Faculty Escort Marshals for the School of Management will assemble in the Community Room.
Area 3: Faculty Escort Marshals for the School of Architecture will assemble in the East Shadow Box.
Area 4: Doctoral candidates and advisors will assemble in the Parsonnet Room, follow the stage group processional and will be seated on stage.
