There are many ways
students can get involved at NJIT including joining one or more of NJIT’s 70
student clubs and organizations
and 22
fraternities and sororities. The Campus Center & Student
Activities, in conjunction with various student organizations and
departments, hosts hundreds of social and educational events each
year. Students can get connected through a variety of annual programs, our featured Fall 2004 programs: Opening Week Activities - A week long celebration starts the new academic year with barbeques, performers, and entertainment. New Student Celebration - A weekend of friendly and silly competitions and entertainment help our newest students get to know one another. NJIT Day - Students and their families, along with NJIT faculty and staff, join together for a weekend of outdoor activities, music, building dedications, entertainment, and our first annual Highlander Games. Join us for NJIT Day 2004 on October 23, 2004 - more information will be available online in September! Hazell Halloween - A fun filled day includes trick or treating, haunted houses, and tarot card readings. Diversity Themed Programs - Cultural, educational, and social activities celebrate the many cultures represented at NJIT. Stress Free Zone - A two-week period around exam time; We offer a multitude of stress reduction workshops and activities, a play room, and free coffee and donuts. Keep connected for Spring 2005 programs, which include: NJIT College Bowl Tournament - Compete in the NJIT tournament on a four-person team for a chance to compete in the regional tournament in February. Details are available online. Greek Week - Join the NJIT Greek community, as it celebrates the pillars of Greek life involvement and showcase their talents and fellowship in a variety of activities and service programs. International Student Coffeehouses - Featuring NJIT student organization as hosts, the International Student Coffeehouses allow our international students opportunities to find fun, fellowship and of course food - with visiting speakers and presentations relevant to the US experience.
