Leadership Programs
There are three leadership workshop series for students to learn and refine leadership skills: the iLEAD Leadership Workshop Series, the 'What is my leadership style?" series, and the Social Change Model series. The iLEAD series will focus on 6 leadership skill workshops presented once a week, repeated several times throughout the year. The workshops will focus on leadership skills necessary for the working world that can be applied during your time at NJIT. If you are interested in learning your leadership style, stop by one of the 'What is my leadership style?" workshops where you can learn how you work in groups. For those students interested in using their leadership skills to create change in their community, they should attend one of the 7 Social Change Model workshops offered - they will focus on using value-based leadership to make an impact in all types of communities. Leadership skills are essential not only in today’s college environment but they are exactly what employers are looking for when they hire for any position. At NJIT, students have a chance to gain the leadership skills that employers desire through many vehicles including the utilization of our Center for Student Leadership, which houses several leading leadership publications. Review requirements online or download an application to sign up for the programs.
