Mail
Departments, Faculty and Staff
The NJIT mailroom processes incoming, outgoing and interoffice mail for departments, faculty and staff throughout the university. Only NJIT business, educational and research related mail should be processed thru the NJIT mailroom. Personal mail should not be processed thru the mailroom.
On-campus Resident Students
Residence Life Students receive their mail thru the residence life mail rooms which are operated by the office of residence life. Each residence hall has its own address. Mail is delivered Monday through Friday. In most cases, mailboxes are shared with your roommate(s). Mailboxes are located in the lobby of your residence hall. A mailbox key is assigned to you at check-in. Express Mail and United Postal Services packages are delivered directly to your hall. Your presence and identification are required to receive person-to-person mail. Mail will be forwarded (on campus only) when a student changes rooms or moves into summer housing. Residence Life only forwards first-class mail over the summer. Residents are responsible for changing their address with all parties when they no longer live on campus. If needed, resident students can purchase stamps from the US postal service online at USPS.com. Below are the residence hall mailing address:
