Chemical Engineering Program

The Chemical Engineering Program (CHEM-ENG) is a 4-week program designed to introduce post-7th-grade students to the field of chemical engineering. This thematic focus allows students to view the world through the lens of a chemical engineer. Chemical engineers draw upon the vast and powerful science of chemistry to solve a wide range of problems and find the best possible way to manufacture products.

Academic courses incorporate modules to prepare students for the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) test, a comprehensive assessment exam administered to New Jersey's 8th graders.
