| December 8, 2008 | Scholar recruitment begins – Scholar recruitment letters and application packets sent to University Coordinators for distribution. |
| January 16, 2009 | Agency Application Deadline - Proposals and internship job descriptions due to NJIT. |
| January 16 - January 23, 2009 | Agency job descriptions posted to Housing Scholars website and sent to schools for prospective scholars to review. |
| January 26 - February 13, 2009 | Interest Session & Program Orientation for Prospective Scholars (Hosted by Partnering Colleges) |
| February 20, 2009 | Scholar Application Deadline - Student applications, resumes, and selection forms due to NJIT. |
| March 6, 2009 | Resumes and applications sent to agencies for interview selections; invitations to job fair sent to prospective scholars and nonprofit agencies. |
