1st Friday Seminar Series
Civic Engagement 1st Friday Seminar Series provides a forum for NJIT students to learn about the many benefits of civic engagement.  Representatives from nonprofit, education, and government agencies join members of NJIT staff and faculty to facilitate informative “how-to” workshops, lecture-style seminars, and reflection sessions for students interested in public service careers.  This series enable participants to explore the possibilities for professional and leadership development through community and public service experiences and to meet with other like-minded students and professionals committed to shaping a better future for our local and global communities.  Five seminars are held on the first Friday of each of three months during the academic semester.  The sessions are open to all NJIT students.
