OCR Procedures
To schedule an OCR date, first establish an account in our CDSlink system. Under the “On-campus Recruitment” tab submit a request for your preferred OCR dates, or contact Patrick Young at pyoung@njit.edu or 973-596-3246 if you have questions about using the system.
Once the interview date is approved, you will be able to attach the positions you are interviewing for through the system. As soon as the positions are approved and posted, you will receive a detailed confirmation email with the full details of your OCR visit.
Two weeks prior to your OCR date, you will receive a bundle of resumes to review. One week prior to your OCR date, you can pre-select your candidates through the CDSlink system or email selections to Patrick Young.
Our office will handle the scheduling of candidates and provide you with the completed schedule and details prior to your interview day.
Location
Career Development Services' interview facilities are located on the 4th Floor of Campbell Hall (See Campus Map). Complimentary parking is provided in the secure parking deck located at 154 Summit Street, near the Warren and Summit Street intersection in Newark.
Information Sessions
Information sessions are another way for you to brand your organization on campus and build your applicant pool. Companies will often schedule information sessions several weeks before an OCR date or the evening before the OCR interviews. Request your information session through the CDSlink system or contact Patrick Young to discuss this option further.
