WHAT CAN I DO IN THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WITH A MAJOR IN?

Students and alumni at NJIT major in a variety of disciplines that can be applied in different fields. We have listed groups of majors and noted the federal agencies that would be a good match for persons in those fields of study. The agency listings are not all inclusive, but are starting points for a job search. For any agencies that interest you, check the Careers section of their website for job listings and instructions on how to apply. Some majors may include a reference to Academic Quick Guides, a resource prepared by the Partnership for Public Service. The Guides provide information on agencies that hire those majors and give sample job descriptions.
