On-Campus Recruitment Application Procedures for Graduating Students

Five Step Process for OCR

  1. Register with the new eRecruiting system by clicking on CDS On-Line for Students & Alumni. You will need a password token to start your registration. Please call 973.596.3227 to get the password token. When you have registered, you then need to upload your one page resume and complete your profile.                                                                             
  2. E-mail your career advisor to let her know that you have completed the registration process. She will review your on-line resume and notify you if changes need to be made. Click here to locate your career advisor.                                                                                                                                     
  3. You must attend a mandatory OCR Orientation Workshop before you can apply for OCR jobs.                                                                                                                                                    
  4. Print out and complete the Resume Release Form. You do not need an appointment to return your Authorization Form.                                                                                                                                  
  5. To prepare for interviews, take the WebCT course, Ace That Interview after you have attended the workshop.                           

Important Information for Students Participating in On-Campus Recruitment:

Information Sessions

Many companies conduct on-campus Information Sessions where recruiters provide detailed company information and you have the opportunity to ask questions. Some sessions are open to all students while others are open to selected candidates only. Information sessions are mandatory for all selected students. Most sessions are scheduled from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. the day before the scheduled interview. The Information Session is available in Campbell Hall, 4th Floor and on-line.

Prepare for the Interview

It is your responsibility to be well prepared for the interview. We offer a variety of workshops and services that are designed to develop your interviewing skills. Also, company web site information, brochures, booklets, pamphlets, and reports are available for your review in the Career Resource Center. In addition, many companies have on-campus Information Sessions in which recruiters provide detailed company information and you are given the opportunity to ask questions. Most are scheduled from 4:00 to 5:30 the afternoon before the scheduled interview.
