Make the Most of Your Winter Break!

Winter Session is a three-week term between the fall and spring semesters. Students can earn up to four hours of academic credit in three weeks. Choose from approximately 30 courses. The concentrated format allows students to focus on a single subject area which enhances the probability of achieving a good grade in the course.  Winter Session courses at NJIT are held on campus during the daytime and offer the same excellent instruction as that offered during the regular academic year.

Advantages of Winter Session

  • Advance to the next level of coursework.

  • Improve their grade point average.

  • Satisfy an undergraduate requirement course (GUR).

  • Maintain eligibility for financial aid.

Note: The Campus Center and Administrative Offices will be closed December 25, 2013 - January 1, 2014.  All questions and concerns about Winter Session should be directed to the Center for First Year Students or the Registrar's Office before December 24, 2013.  Offices will reopen for business on January 2, 2014.  If there is an emergency during the dates that the Administrative Offices are closed,  please contact Public Safety at (973) 596-3111.
