A contract cancelation request is a formal written appeal to obtain a release from the housing contract and application and/or from the contract cancelation charges as outlined in the terms and conditions, Terms and Conditions 2024-2025
The contract cancelation appeal is intended for students who experience significant changes in circumstances beyond their contract which
a) prevent them from fulfilling the terms of the contract and
b) cannot be resolved within the residence hall system.
Appeals are only considered during the current academic year. You MUST include current documentation to support your appeal. Without the documentation your appeal will not be granted/reviewed. Submitting a contract cancelation appeal form is NOT a guarantee of release from the contract, terms and conditions of the contract or the cancelation fees.
Once submitted, your appeal will be reviewed and a decision will be emailed to you. Potential outcomes may include appeal granted, appeal granted with a cancelation fee or appeal denied. Your appeal will be reviewed within 7-10 business days, please plan accordingly.
