The NJIT Board of Trustees yesterday commended in a formal ceremony NJIT Professor of Electrical Engineering Nirwan Ansari who was honored last month by the NJ Inventors Hall of Fame for his cutting edge work. Feted too by the Board, but unable to attend the ceremony, was noted NJIT Distinguished Research Professor of Physics Louis J. Lanzerotti.  >>

Khondaker M. Salehin, a PhD candidate in the ECE Department at NJIT, was the runner-up in the Student Poster Competition of the IEEE Sarnoff Symposium 2010 in Princeton. Salehin presented a scheme to measure link capacity and available bandwidth for wired networks. This work was developed in the Networking Research Laboratory under the supervision of Roberto Rojas-Cessa, PhD, an associate professor in NJIT's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.  >>
