NJIT, the Israel Economic Mission in New York and the New Jersey-Israel Commission will present on April 1, 2009 an Israel Homeland Security Conference at NJIT. Leading U.S. integrators, public entities and security companies are invited. >>

NJIT's Enterprise Development Center (EDC) will host the Eighth Annual New Jersey Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Conference on Nov. 19 and Nov. 20. Companies will be reimbursed by the EDC for the attendance fee and will receive a free proposal review just for attending. Phase I (Proposal Development) and Phase II (Cost Proposal Preparation) program attendees will be eligible to receive a complimentary proposal critique by the Greenwood Consulting Group. Jada Hoyle-Gardner, a rising 7th grader at Hillside Catholic Academy, demonstrates Newton's Three Laws of Motion by simulating an amusement park swing ride. She participated in the Pre-Engineering Program (PrEP) at NJIT, a five-week program designed to provide academically talented post-sixth grade students with an introduction to mechanical engineering that will hopefully propel them toward math and science careers. >>
