New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) one of the nation's foremost public research technological universities prepares students to be leaders in the technology dependent economy of the 21st century.

Today NJIT looks proudly upon its efforts to minimize the United States' critical shortage of engineers and scientists by reaching out to qualified young people, especially those traditionally underrepresented in the technological fields.

If you want to be in a position to help prepare your students, this workshop is for you, as it will look at:

• Career guidance -- Majors offered

• Career and Workforce Development in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) fields

• Admissions and Financial Aid

As a professional development provider registered with the NJDEA #189, NJIT will host it’s fifth professional development workshop for guidance counselors who will earn a total of 5 Professional Development hours.
