FSI - Forensic Science Initiative

Uses Forensic Science to prepare high school science students for STEM college work and careers. Open to rising Seniors from select public high schools. Students spend 4 weeks on the NJIT campus in the summer participating in hands-on activities in Forensic Biology, Forensic Chemistry, Crime Scene Investigation (in our custom-built labs), Forensic Law, and field research conducted at various sites in the Greater Metropolitan Area.

All interested students should be planning to enroll in FRSC 201 Introduction to Forensic Science during the upcoming school year for dual enrollment credit (your high school & NJIT).

Summer 2024 Dates: July 8th – August 2nd

Registration fee: $60*

Tuition: $1490*

*Some scholarships are available.
