Environmental Science and Engineering Program

The Environmental Science and Engineering Program (ESEP) is a 4-week program designed to provide post-4th grade students with an introduction to environmental science and engineering.

This program will give students an opportunity to enhance their mathematics, science, and technological academic achievement and develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Through classroom discussions, hands-on laboratory experimentation, computer activities, and field trips, participants are introduced to environmental engineering concepts and their application to everyday life, as well as advanced mathematics, computer applications, language arts, and communications.

Academic courses will incorporate modules to prepare participants for the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) test,​ a comprehensive assessment exam administered to New Jersey's 5th graders.

Program Dates:
July 9 – August 3, 9 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday – Friday)

Students completing 4th grade

Tuition: $1,340 (includes academic materials and lunch)
