Intermediate Robotics (iRobotics)

The Intermediate Robotics (iROBOTICS) program is a 4-week program for post-8th and post-9th grade students designed to enhance their prior robotics experience by introducing RobotC, a syntax-based programming language, and Tetrix construction and electronic elements. Students will learn, use, and apply robotics and information technology concepts through the programming and design of robots.

Through classroom discussions, hands-on laboratory experimentation, computer activities, and field trips, participants are introduced to real-world biomedical engineering problems, advanced mathematics, computer applications, language arts, and communications.

Courses will incorporate modules on standardized test preparation in the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) and Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT).
