Medical Robotics (MEDIBOTICS)

The Medibotics program is a five-week program designed to provide post-8th grade students with an introduction to Medical Robotics. Students will learn, use, and apply robotics, and Information Technology concepts to medical problems through the programming and design of robots using LEGO® NXT.

Through classroom discussions, hands-on laboratory experimentation, computer activities, and field trips, participants are introduced to real world bio-medical engineering problems, advanced mathematics, computer applications, language arts and communications.

Courses will incorporate modules on standardized test preparation to High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA) exam and Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT).

July 7 - August 6 – 9:00AM to 3:30PM (Monday - Thursday)

Students completing 8th grade
