Classes will be held on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on March 4, 2023 - April 1, 2023.
Spring II - High School Chemical Engineering will introduce 9th - 12th grade students to field of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. Chemical engineers draw upon the vast and powerful science of chemistry to solve a wide range of problems and find the best possible way to manufacture products. The program's focus allows students to view the world through the lens of a chemical engineer by engaging in classroom and laboratory experiences.
Classes will be held on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on April 30, 2022 - June 4, 2022 (there will be no class on May 28th due to Memorial Day)
Fall I - High School Math will focus on problem-based learning in number and quantity as well as algebra topics pertinent to students in 8th - 10th grade students.
Eight mathematical practices will be covered with three sessions spent on Number and Quantity topics including The Real Number System, Quantities, and The Complex Number System and two sessions concentrated on Algebra topics including Expressions and Equations and Inequalities.
Classes will be held on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on September 24, 2022 - October 22, 2022
Fall II - High School Forensic Science will introduce 9th - 12th grade students to forensic science. This course explores the science behind crime scene investigation. Forensic Science is an integral part of the legal system which provides investigators credible science to corroborate or refute statements and offers factual reports of scientific-based findings to a trial judge and jury. Students will be introduced to the science behind examination techniques used in forensic labs. Forensic disciplines such as forensic fingerprinting, evidence collection, blood spatter analysis and more will be explored.

Winter - High School Environmental Science will introduce 9th - 12th grade students to environmental science; Environmental Science is an interdisciplinary science. As such, it combines ideas and information from the natural sciences (biology, earth science, physical science) and social sciences such as economics, politics and ethics to present a modern view of how nature works and how humans interact with nature. The course uses basic scientific laws, principles, and concepts to understand environmental and resource problems and to consider and develop possible solutions to these problems. Topics include Ecosystems; Air; Water and Soil Resources; Pollution and Recycling; Population; Land Use and Endangered Species.
