Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC)

Our Purpose

The purpose of NJIT Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) is to find, negotiate, and acquire government contracts for New Jersey based businesses (excluding Union County). At no cost to the business, our Procurement Specialists assist in navigating the private and public sector procurement processes with one-on-one and group counseling, proposal reviews, certification and registration assistance, marketing, post award requirements and specialized training.

Does your business qualify?

To become an NJIT PTAC client must meet the following requirements:

  • New Jersey based small business (Excluding Union County) [Not in New Jersey? Click here to identify resources in your state]
  • Established at least 2 years
  • For profit entity
  • Customer base that demonstrates past performance
  • Must not be delinquent with child support or taxes
  • Credit worthy
  • Business bank account
  • Computer literate
  • Company website and email preferred
