FSI - Forensic Science Initiative

Uses Forensic Science to prepare high school science students for STEM college work and careers. Open to rising Seniors from select public high schools. Students spend 4 weeks on the NJIT campus in the summer participating in hands-on forensics activities and field research.

All interested students should be planning to enroll in FRSC 201 Introduction to Forensic Science during the upcoming school year for dual enrollment credit (your high school / NJIT).

There is no cost to students from Newark, Orange, Hillside, Elizabeth and Kearny public schools for the summer program. Supported by a grant from the NJ Office of the Secretary of Higher Education.
