FSI - Forensic Science Initiative

Uses Forensic Science to prepare high school science students for STEM college work and careers. Open to rising Seniors from select public high schools. Students spend 5 weeks on the NJIT campus in the summer participating in hands-on forensics activities followed by enrollment in FRSC 201 Introduction to Forensic Science during the school year. Dual high school and college credits earned. There is no cost to students for the college credits or the summer program. Supported by a grant from the NJ Office of the Secretary of Higher Education.
