M.S. Electrical Engineering

Designed for students who want to strengthen their command of the latest techniques/methodologies in electrical engineering, develop the technological and creative-thinking skills necessary to deliver innovative solutions to real-world electrical engineering challenges, and cultivate the professional development tools needed to become a leader/manager in a world of increasing technological complexity. With specializations in telecommunications, robotics and control, signal and image processing, and power and energy. 

Summary

To educate engineers, expand knowledge and develop new tools for solving complex technological problems. This program offers students unusual opportunities to specialize in advanced phases of electrical engineering and provides state-of-the-art training at advanced levels in areas of technical specialization, including faculty-supervised research.

Students in the MS Electrical Engineering Master's Degree Program will learn a wide range of leadership and management skills in addition to the following skills: 

  •  Linear systems.
  •  Random signal analysis.
  •  Project management.
  •  Decision analysis.
