Transfer Connections Orientation: January 12, 2015

ransfer Connections is the transfer student orientation at NJIT that is held before the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. This program provides you with the flexibility and opportunity to take care of all your transition needs in one day, where you will get helpful information from academic advisors, student peer leaders, and departmental representatives. At Transfer Connections, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Know about your major through your academic advisor
  • Understand how credit transfers and placement works
  • See departmental advisors to review and award transfer credit
  • Register for classes
  • Meet peer leaders who will help guide you and share their experience as students
  • Hear about public safety and computing at NJIT
  • Meet with representatives from the offices of the Advising Success Center, Registrar, Bursar, Financial Aid, Admissions, EOP, Health Services, disability services, and International Students to name a few
  • Learn more about student life as a campus resident or commuter
  • Obtain your photo ID card and parking permit

Please note that Transfer Connection is intended for transfer students and is not meant to accommodate parents and guests. However, there will be one session during the day to meet the parent liaison should you bring a parent or guardian. The final Transfer Connections program schedule will be made availability two weeks before the date of the program.
