NJIT has currently been on a moratorium for all expansion for the past several years. As of the Fall 2010 semester, this will be lifted and representatives of the Office of Greek Life, the Campus Center, and the undergraduate population will be working to assess the needs of the campus regarding organizations during this time. Though we are no longer closed to expansion, there is no guarantee that we will be inviting new organizations to campus.

Organizations wishing to request to expand on the NJIT campus must be affiliated with one of the following national umbrella organizations: NIC, NPC, NPHC, NALFO, NMGC, NAPA. In addition, any organization wishing to expand must be able to offer an NJIT only Charter.

It is strongly encouraged that any student interested in bringing an organization to campus meet with the Assistant Director for Greek Life as soon as possible to ensure that they are working within the NJIT guidelines.
