Joining a fraternity or sorority is a lifelong dedication to the ideals and principals of Greek life. Perhaps the greatest incentive to join a Greek-letter organization at NJIT is the friendships you will make. As a fraternity or sorority member at NJIT, you will gain lifelong friends not only in your own chapter, but in other fraternities and sororities as well. Many call these organizations their extended family, hence the terms "fraternity brothers" and "sorority sisters." Inter-chapter activities such as homecoming, Alumni reunions, recruitment event, Intramural and Greek Week activities expand the opportunity for friendship. Membership is a solemn life commitment.
