Greek Week

For Greeks at NJIT, spring means only two things – Spring Break but also the week-long celebration we call Greek Week. The goal of Greek Week is to unite the Greek Community under a common bond of fraternal friendship. There are activities to help the community, to foster friendship, and of course, to have some fun along the way.

Members dance and compete in Greek God and Goddess, talent show, race and play an array of Olympics events and Tournaments, enjoy house parties, and participate in various service and philanthropic events that benefits the City of Newark and its surroundings. Members of the Faculty and Staff are treated to a healthy breakfast each morning during Greek Week. Alumni are welcome to participate in many of our Greek Week activities, as we know that they are the foundation of our chapters. Alumni are welcomed back during the Family Day BBQ, which host events for the entire family. (see flyer April 2008)

The week concludes with an Award Ceremony at the Highlander Pub, where pictures and memories of the entire Greek Community is showcased to show their spirit of friendship and brotherhood during the past 7 days.

A New Greek Week Champion is crowned.
