NJIT Speakers To Present at International Events

NJIT, under Maurie Cohen’s direction, will be a co-sponsor (with Clark University and others) of the SCORAI event “The Future of Consumerism and Well-Being in a World of Ecological Constraints”  from June 12-14.  Cohen was also recently featured on Australian radio to discuss the topic “Imagining the future.”

"Tech Transfer from Academia to Start-Up" will be the focus of a panel presentation Judith Sheft will be featured in June 14-15 at National Cheng Kung University.  Sheft will also deliver lectures at the Industrial Technology Research Institute, also in Taiwan.

“US advanced manufacturing skills gap:  Innovative education solutions”  will be the topic presented by Gale Tenen Spak at the 4th Annual International Conference on New Horizons in Education in Rome, Italy June 25-27.  Spak was also recently a moderator/panelist on “Stackable Credentials and Industry Needs” at the NJ Department of Education Career and Technical Education (CTE) Office: “The Power of CTE:  Propelling Students to College and Career.”
