NJIT will hold Celebration, its annual black-tie benefit dinner, on Nov. 8, 2013 at the Pleasantdale Chateau, West Orange. Event proceeds will provide endowed scholarship support. The President’s Medal for Lifetime Achievement will be awarded to Anthony J. Sartor, PhD, chairman and chief executive officer of Paulus, Sokolowski & Sartor. The Special Friend of the University Award will be given to Steven Plate, deputy chief of capital planning and director, World Trade Center Construction, The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey. The Edward F. Weston Medal for Professional Achievement will be awarded to Anita Rubino, class of 1983, the owner of EVOS, Carrollwood Restaurant, Florida. The Berger Group Holdings, Inc., Morristown will be named the NJIT Outstanding Corporate Partner of the Year.
