Warren Street Village Ribbon Cutting

The ribbon cutting was held this morning for the Warren Street Village: Honors Residential Hall and Greek Houses, with a welcome and introduction provided by Charles R. Dees, Jr., vice president for university advancement.  President Joel S. Bloom, master of the event’s ceremonies and the founder and former dean of NJIT’s 12-year-old Dorman Honors College, has been a fervent “Village” advocate to enable the expanded learning community for the 685 Honors College students, one of NJIT’s most vibrant and successful student learning communities. Tours of the new residential Honors College and Greek homes and a reception followed the ceremonies.
