NJIT Professor Speaks at International Gender Summit

Nancy Steffen-Fluhr, PhD, associate professor in the department of humanities and director of the Murray Center for Women in Technology, addressed the third annual international Gender Summit (GS3NA) on Nov. 14 in Washington, D.C.  Steffen-Fluhr, principal investigator on NJIT's NSF Advance grant (2006-2013), demonstrated how co-authorship network mapping can be used to track faculty career development and interdepartmental research collaboration.  The GS3NA was co-sponsored by the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health and their counterparts in Canada and Mexico, and in association with the European Commission.
