NJIT's Jon Curley Contributes to 3D Film Featured at Newark Airport

NJIT Senior University Lecturer Jon Curley has collaborated with Newark-based filmmakers Marylou and Jerome Bongiorno on a film about contemporary Newark that will be exhibited at Newark Liberty International Airport. New Work: Newark in 3D is a short film originally commissioned by the Newark Museum for its 2009 Centennial Celebration.  Curley wrote and recorded the poems featured in the audio portion of the film, a key contribution to the project.  The temporary installation runs through Jan. 15 and was selected by the Port Authority for the opening of the new Terminal B Exhibition Gallery.  It can be viewed in a specially designed screening gallery for international passengers and in the Relax and Recharge Lounge for all visitors.  The film’s trailer is also being shown on the Welcome Center Monitors in all terminals.  For more information, read “At Newark Airport, a 3-D Distraction.”
