Goldman Takes Top Honor in Architectural Photography Competition

Clockwise from top left: "Reflections of the Custom House," "Back of House," "Structure and Beauty" and "Cobwebs and Columns."

For the third year in a row, School of Art + Design Director Glenn Goldman has been among the winners of the annual architectural photography contest sponsored by the West Jersey Section of the American Institute of Architects (AIA West Jersey).  A series of four photographs taken in Ireland were awarded and selected for publication in the organization’s 2014 calendar.  “Structure and Beauty,” an interior photograph of the chapel in Dublin Castle, was named the Best Overall Entry and appears on the cover.  Goldman’s photo “Cobwebs and Columns,” taken in Kilkenny, was selected as one of the thirteen winners and published as the image for October.  Two additional photographs, “Back of House,” an unusual look at late additions at the rear of Dublin Castle, and “Reflections of the Custom House,” taken from across the Liffey River, were named as merit selections and also published.
