Humanities Professor Presents Papers to American Philosophical Association

Eric Katz, professor of philosophy in the Department of Humanities, presented two papers at the recent American Philosophical Association Central Division meetings in Chicago.  Katz presented "Technology, Environment, and the Swastika: The Domination of Nature and Genocide" at the meeting of the Society for the Philosophic Study of Genocide and the Holocaust on Feb 27.  He also presented "Geoengineering, Restoration, and the Construction of Nature" to the International Society for Environmental Ethics on March 1.
