Five French-based students graduating from the School of Management’s “sister school” in Saint-Etienne traveled overseas to receive their MBA degrees in person at the university’s commencement ceremony in May. SOM offers a European MBA in partnership with Ecole Superieure de Commerce (ESC), Saint-Etienne, France. Classes are given on-site and are taught by instructors from ESC and NJIT.
NJIT has established a dual degree program with Universitat Politecnica de Catalyuna in Barcelona, Spain, under the leadership of Yeheskel Bar-Ness, distinguished professor of electrical and computing engineering. The ECE department has already hosted eight exchange students.
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has established a partnership with University of Florence, Italy, under the direction of Sirin Tekinay, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering. Her lab is hosting a visiting master’s student and a doctoral fellow.
