With $75 million in research support for 2003, NJIT now ranks as a leader in size and growth of research programs among the nation’s technological universities. Expansion of the research program has focused on several multidisciplinary areas.

INCREASE REVENUE FROM PRIVATE SOURCES.

NJIT needs to build increased support from the private sector in order to stay competitive and move toward its goal of becoming a top-ranked public research university.
